If someone could help that will be good for me and thank you

Help me with this i have no clue what to do right now.

What are you trying to do? Just call the function get year? If so, this is how you call that function:

or you could set it to a variable:
```var currentYear = getYear();```
then currentYear will be set to what the function currentYear returns, which is the current year.

The last step of the challenge is: Call the getYear function: store the returned value of the function in a new variable named yearToday.

So you need to create a variable called yearToday:

function getYear() {
  var year = new Date().getFullYear();
  return year;
}

var yearToday;

Then you need to set its value to the function getYear();

function getYear() {
  var year = new Date().getFullYear();
  return year;
}

var yearToday = getYear();
