IM completely lost with this can someone please help?

Hey Michael, not sure if you figured this out. You were close! Notice this line here:

listItems[i].style.color = rainbow[i]; 

You're trying to set your list items to have values from an array called rainbow, but that doesn't exist. Change it to be:

listItems[i].style.color = colors[i];
