CSS How to Make a Website Styling Web Pages and Navigation Style the Portfolio

I'm having problems following is there a way anyone can look over my work and see were i'm going wrong?

I'm having problems making my images float to the left.

If you could show a copy of your code here that would be helpful and you could get a more specific answer.

Generally speaking, you want to target the div classes together you want and assign a width so they will both fit in the parent container.

.divone, .divtwo { width: 48%; }

Then select each div individually and float it to either the left or the right side.

.divone { float: right; }

.divtwo { float: left; }

In order to make sure your div height doesn't collapse, you need to clear your floats-the best method is to use clearfix. Put this into your CSS style sheet:

.group:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; }

Then return to your HTML and give the parent element of the floated columns the class 'group'. You can use whatever name you want (.floatything:after {....etc) but group is the common name used.

Good luck!
