22,986 PointsI'm having some trouble with appending strings!
As per the code challenge, I'm trying to concat two strings but I'm getting this error on the final step! Can you help me out?
My error message is 'Make sure you assign the correct value to favorite'.
NSString *color = @"purple";
NSString *preference = @"My favorite color is";
NSString *favorite = [color stringByAppendingString:preference];

11,679 PointsLooks like you just got the order backwards. You want to append color
to preference
so you'll pass color
into stringByAppendingString
. Also might want to add a space to the end of the preference
string.
NSString *color = @"purple";
NSString *preference = @"My favorite color is ";
NSString *favorite = [preference stringByAppendingString:color];
