I'm having trouble answering the "nth-child" question on this Code Challenge.

I think that I am writing my code properly (its the last selector, at the bottom of the file,) but the website won't pass me.

My instructions are to "clear the left side of every 4th list item with the id of "gallery." Here's a hint; You'll need to write another selector inside of the media query at the bottom of the file, in addition to the one you wrote in the previous step (the precious code challenge question.) You'll also need to use the nth-child pseudo selector."

Hey there,

the problem why you're not passing the challenge is that you're writing spaces between the colon and the name of the pseudo-class and between the pseudo-class and its value in parentheses. If you remove the spaces it should work just fine!

Like so:

  #gallery li:nth-child(4n) {
    clear: left;
  }

You nearly got it! The problem is that you included spaces with the :nth-child(n) selector. You want something like:

#gallery li:nth-child(4n) {
    clear: left;
}
