Python Python Collections (2016, retired 2019) Lists Combining Lists

I'm not really sure how to do this correctly. Sorry, having an off day.

I tried using .pop, which i though I was using correctly, but I screwed it up so hard not even treehouse knew what to tell me. "Bummer: Try again!"

lists.py 
best = [ "a" , "b" , "c"] 
best.extend(["d" , "e"])
best.insert(["start"])[0]

I tried this and got a bit more helpful error message: "Bummer: TypeError: insert() takes exactly 2 arguments (1 given)"

And here's a few more hints:

  • your 2nd argument needs to be inside the parentheses
  • the index should be the first argument to "insert"
  • neither argument should be in a list
