JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Simplify Repetitive Tasks with Loops Create a `do...while` loop

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here. I'm getting a parse error.

var secret;

do { secret = prompt ("What is the secret password?"); if (secret == "sesame") { document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome"); } } while (secret ! == "sesame")

script.js
var secret;

do {
  secret = prompt ("What is the secret password?");
}
while (secret! == "sesame")
  document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

Variable names

Hi Sarah, you are getting a parse error because inside the while-condition you left a space between the exclamation point and the double equal sign. But thats not causing the parser error.

Remember that variable name only support set of letters and numbers and other symbols nut not exclamation points. This is why you are getting a parser error.

To correct the error replace your while condition with this

secret !== "sesame"

hope this helps;
