JavaScript JavaScript Basics Working with Strings Combine and Manipulate Strings

I'm still not sure why i'm having an issue when adding .toUpperCase()

anyone has a different approach to this ?

app.js
let firstName='Ehsan';
let lastName='Shamat';
let role = 'developer';

let msg = firstName + " " + lastName + ":" + role.toUpperCase() + ".";

Hi Ehsan, I think you have two basic issues, one that matters and one that may not. The instructions said to watch your spacing, and that is the critical one. You just need to put a space after the colon. The problem that may not matter is that you don't need to concatenate a period onto the end. It's not part of the string.

Hope this helps!

You are right Rick, it worked.
Thank you so much for help .
