I'm stuck with this basic task, I need a for loop to print, and a break for the captured instruction.

def loopy(items): for item in items: print(item)

if item == "STOP"": break

breaks.py
def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        print(item)

    if item == "STOP":
        break

Hi, the problem is wrong indentation of your code, your if statement is outside of the for, it must be inside of it and before the print.

def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        your if statement here
        print statement
