I'm stucked

def squared(num): try: int(num) return int(num) ** 2 except TypeError: return (num * len(num)) where am i wrong

squared.py

def squared(num):
                try:
                        int(num)
                        return int(int(num) ** 2)
                except TypeError:
                        return (num * len(num))


# squared(5) would return 25
# squared("2") would return 4
# squared("tim") would return "timtimtim"

def squared(num): try: int(num) return int(int(num) ** 2) except ValueError:
return num * len(num)

As you have seen, the error was a ValueError so you should make sure to except the ValueError not the TypeError. Another thing, you don't need brackets when returning num * len(num).
