Im stumped with this code challenge Python basics- shopping list- continue

I remember what to do to continue the list but i seem to be getting it wrong. this has stumped me for days trying to figure it out on my own.

breaks.py 
def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if items.index[0]:
            break
            continue
            print(loopy)

Try this:

def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        if item[0] == "a":
            continue
        print(item)
