i'm try to write a CSS but i keep forgetting!

I've all ready put in the <h1> & <style> i just need help creating the CSS!

Hi Jack,

If you remember for your video CSS needs a certain syntax to affect elements.

selector {
 property: value
}

Each style needs 3 things. A selector to choose which element to select and how specific a selection that should be. The CSS property to apply and the value of that property.

In this case it looks like you want to change a property of the heading element.

So you could write this 

h1 {
  color: green;
}

You'll learn more and more about how to use CSS as you go through the course. Also Guil Hernandez is Treehouse's great CSS teacher so you'll pick it up in no time ;)
