Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types String Formatting

I'm trying to use the format function to create an email greeting with the possibility of changing a variable.

Having some trouble getting through this exercise.

strings.py
name = "Loren"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}"
print(subject.format(name))

You are adding an extra step. You need to attach the .format(name) directly to the subject string text.

name = "Lauren"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)

That makes sense, thank you!
