Python Python Basics (2015) Number Game App String length

I'm unable to pass with this code, and I can't tell why.

It asks to make a function to respond to the length of a single argument, but this code apparently isn't correct.

strlen.py 
def just_right(arg):
  if len(arg) < 5:
    print("Your string is too short")
  elif len(arg) > 5:
    print("Your sting is too long")
  else:
    return True

Two things:

  1. You misspelled "string" as "sting".
  2. The challenge asks you to return the string, not to print it out. ''' if len(arg) <5: return("Your string is too short") ""

Hi Connor.

You are close. Instead of printing use return. Like this:

def just_right(arg):
  if len(arg) < 5:
    return "Your string is too short"
  elif len(arg) > 5:
    return "Your string is too long"
  else:
    return True
