I'm using the Virtual setup with Cmder and the treehouse VM. How do I proceed?

I guess this means the files aren't actually stored on my device, how would I proceed following the video.

I assume I'd just create the folder on my PC and just maybe run using the ruby command like some of the earlier examples?
