I'm very confused on what just happened in this video.

In this video, all Ben does is add 2 parameters to ActivityOptions in order for the new Activity/Fragment transition to occur. What did I miss? Did he already create the transition beforehand? I feel like there was no explanation given, even on what exactly the 2 types of parameters were needed for the ActivityOptions method he used.

He briefly mentions at the end of the video that there are default transitions. So everything will work without specifying a transition, but you can always replace them with your own if you want to do it differently.
