Hi Jeremi,

You are very close to getting right.

However as you have added you code to a comment string the code isn't actually being recognised.

Simply dropping your code onto the line below outside the comment will succeed.

Like so.

<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>

<body>
</body>

<script>
// Write your code here.      -------this line is a comment in JS
