Image tags not recognised in Ruby on Rails challenge

Please can someone explain why the code entered is not passing?

I have copied and pasted from the workspace and no matter what i do it says:

""Inside the three new list items, add the following images: "numbers-01.jpg", "numbers-02.jpg", and "numbers-06.jpg". Leave the alt attributes blank, and don’t add any captions or links. Just the images! Remember, you can preview your work by clicking the Preview button.""

Then i enter the code below to get:

"Bummer! Make sure you include an image tag that displays "numbers-01.jpg".

Well as far as I can tell I have entered that tag....or maybe not?

Some help would be appreciated as very new to this and i would like to crack on with the course today!

Many thanks

Ollie

Hi Oliver, while you have entered in the imgs in correctly, this code challenge does not require for you to wrap them in link tags (<a>), all you need to do here is remove them like so:

<ul>
  <li><img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""></li>
  <li><img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li>
  <li><img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""></li>
</ul>

Hope that helps!!
