Considering the video, and considering that the WHITE color is applied to the header 's font, I'd say this happened :

header{ /*or html, or body, or any parent elements*/
   color: white;    /* or #fff or rgba(255,255,255)*/
}

p {
 /*...All your declarations*/
}

This way you are just setting the text to display as white on a white background. Make sure the WHITE TEXT is only applied to where you need it, ergo the HEADER and its descendants.

To be sure, if you cannot find a certain answer, just go style the P element, overwriting the previous color statement!
