In the Include External CSS lesson, I can't upload the "normalize.css" file. Please fix!!!

Took a break to shovel some snow and had a snack afterwards. I rebooted my machine and tried to upload the smallest image and still hanging. Hope this gets fixed by morning.

I think there might be a systems error. I have a ticket in with support. They replied asking what browser that I use (chrome). If I hear something in the morning. I will be sure to let you know.

Thanks, Jane! That worked perfectly. It is a shield in the url bar, if using chrome.

You're welcome Brian! I added as an answer to the question.

Thanks you Jane!! That totally worked. : )

Hi, I have the same problem. I followed Jane advice but is still not working. Any idea?

I am currently having the same problem. Please fix it :) I'd like to continue learning...

Guido Medina - you're welcome!

Rodrigo Santome - i suggest you contact support. they are very quick at resolving issues.

Hebah abdelqader - this is a forum. you should contact support if my solution or other solutions related to this topic does not work for you. don't expect support to fix the problem from posting on here. you will find a much slower reply if at all.

Thank you Jane!

I found the problem. The workspace is using SSL (https) but when you try to use the workspace to upload files one of the requests it makes is not secure. All modern browsers are designed to prevent this from happening because it is a security issue. I've brought it up with customer service so hopefully they will fix it.

A temporary fix is to look in the url bar of the browser window where your workspace is loaded. There should be some kind of icon that notifies you that the browser is trying to make non-secure requests. To allow your workspace to upload in most browsers you can right click on it and say allow/load non-secure/unsafe content. Often this icon is a shield or something red in the url bar.

Obviously you don't want to do this on sites you don't trust. But it works for me here.

The helpdesk claimed to have fixed the bug completely. I am not for sure other than what Jane has stated. Try contacting support. They are aware of the issue.

Hey Jane,

I am trying to pull over a CSS file that was part of the initial download, and It is not even allowing me to drag towards the box. Any ideas? I want to keep going. Thanks!

For the same reason I am stuck on this part of the video for the past 5 days and I am not able to continue learning.

Hey guys, I was just able to load and save the images into the worspace.

What I did was the following:

-First I created a new and empty folder on my desktop -I downloaded and opened the zip file ( project files ) -I copied and pasted each of the images from the zip file to the new folder I created on my desktop -I launched the workspace and dragged and dropped each file from the folder i created on my desktop to the workspace, and this time works.

This is still a problem. I am unable to drop and upload the files into workspace on chrome.

I did as mentioned above, unzipped into a separate folder. Then i did file > Upload File option. It took literally 4-5 mins for the first one to upload... After that the others were very quick. I uploaded one at a time.
