Images showing in one column instead of two.

I followed the video carefully and I have checked if i miss spelled the code , and I couldn't find an error. Why is my webpage still showing the images in one column?

You have all your images in a single li element, whereas they should each be in their own. It looks like you've got your gallery li declaration done properly, so they should move into two columns once you enclose each

<a>
  <img ... >
</a>

portion in its own li.

You added all the images to only one <li> element. They each need their own list element:

    <div id="wrapper">
      <section>
        <ul id="gallery">
          <li>
            <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg">
              <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
              <p>Experimentation with color and texture.</p>
            </a></li>
          <li>
            <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg">
              <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
              <p>Playing with blending modes in Photoshop.</p>
            </a>
          </li>
            <a href="img/numbers-06.jpg">
              <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
              <p>Trying to create an 80's style of glows.</p>
            </a>
          <li>
              <a href="img/numbers-09.jpg">
              <img src="img/numbers-09.jpg" alt="">
