<!doctype html> <html> <head> <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet"> </head> <body> <div class=".main-pg"> <p class="main-pg">My amazing website</p>
</body> </html>
<!doctype html>

Courses Plus Student 18,373 PointsAfter adding the class "main-pg" on the paragraph you do not have to create a parent div. You just need to create the CSS rule targeting ".main-pg" with no instructions, like this :
.main-pg {
}

Courses Plus Student 18,373 PointsIn the file styles.css =) The CSS file.
Now that you have your paragraph which contains the class "main-pg" you want to create a CSS Rule (so in the second file of the challenge) to add style for this selector.
