18,232 PointsThe <a> tags are directly mentioned inside the body. So you do not need to use a class attribute to <a> tags. You can simply write your css as:
a {
padding: 15px;
margin:10px;
}
It may also work by avoid the a after .social-links. Because the class social-links and a are same you don't need to use both.
.social-links {
padding: 15px;
margin:10px;
}
or You can wrap <a> tag witha div tag and the make its class to social-links
<body>
<div class="social-links">
<a href="#">Follow me on Twitter!</a>
<a href="#">Send me an Email!</a>
</div>
</body>
and then rewrite the css as
.social-links a {
padding: 15px;
margin:10px;
}
