HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Create Navigation with Lists

in the navigation element create list with the words portfolio, About and Contact . Dont add the links just yet

I wrote my code like this <ul> <li>Portfolio></li> <li>About></li> <li>Contact><li> </ul> where am i going wrong I cant proceed its my last step

The only mistake I can spot is that you forgot your closing <nav> tag :)

To add to what Valerie said, indenting your code properly will make it easier to notice things like this. I've had to repeatedly remind myself to do the same. But, it has helped me tremendously identifying omissions and typos. Keep up the good work!!
