Index with Specific Parameters

I have looked up several different functions on how to sort for "A" and call this properly but I'm falling short. We need to index for "A" then set a function to deliver this. I'm missing something easy

continents.py 
continents = [
    'Asia',
    'South America',
    'North America',
    'Africa',
    'Europe',
    'Antarctica',
    'Australia',
]
# Your code here

for con in continents:
    con.index("A")
    print("* " + con)
