index.html list won't read three listed. How do I send code copy to post?

I'm out of ideas on how to fix it. and if I navigate away my work all disappears. I don't know how to copy the code, Markdown won't copy.

First you need to add this symbol ( ` ) depending on your keyboard its location is near the # 1 key or with the tilde symbol

So it would look like this () without the parenthesis . Then add your code and finish with ()
