2,430 PointsInkscape SVGs not working. Pre-made SVGs working. What. The. Hell.
Hey, I downloaded Inkscape for Building a Responsive Website - Flexible Images Part One: Vector Graphics
I opened the AI files from the project files, saved as a plain SVG, and they don't show up on my page.
The Facebook and Twitter icons have massive vertical displacement and the Bake Me Blush image just turns invisible altogether.
The SVGs that came with the project files work perfectly.
I've even tried an online converter and had the same result.
Getting real tired of your crap Treehouse! Sick of things not working the way they are supposed to.

5,709 PointsYeah, I used their images as well, to see if it was with my code and it wasn't. It was with the way the images were actually saved. I kept getting blocked images at first and then something happened.... I guess i didnt really learn if i dont remember how to correct a past mistake 0_0 LOL

5,709 PointsTreehouse doesn't control what programs your computer runs. The same thing happened to me. I can't remember what it was that I did, but read through the lecture transcripts. I ended up missing a step somewhere that made it work. If all else fails, you probably dont have browser support, like they say most users don't..... I hope it works out for you!! Push on and stay positive my friend!

.svg are part of CSS3... remember she created them using the newest adobe illustrator.... that software is hella expensive but i was able to get a copy and that was how I was able to save as .svg!!

5,709 Pointsi hear you on that one.... but that is why i try to use "branded" software for programming. it's hard enough learning and writing code. when things mess up, like this picture, you get pissed off because you feel like something went wrong with what you did. Then when you find out you spent all this time changing the program, when it wasnt you in the first place. its kind of annoying LOL

5,709 PointsThe Adobe Illustrator was what I caught in the text, i try and do EXACTLY as they do when something goes wrong. The texts are the best way to make sure.
