I am being told that task 1 is no longer passing. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Clifton,

The code is correct, it is just the positioning of the <nav> element. It needs to be outside and after the <a> tag as shown below:

        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li>Portfolio</li>
          <li>About</li>
          <li>Contact</li>
        </ul>
      </nav>
</header>
