Your section should look like this:

    <section>
      <ul>
        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
      </ul>
    </section>

There a couple of things going on, to at least pass stage two.

  1. I don't know if stage three of the challenge is asking you to add anchor tags (a) but you need to remove them. so the HTML looks like this:

"<li><img src="numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li>"

after that you should be good to go.

Not sure specifically what you're trying to accomplish but you're missing the closing quotes for the your src values.

Not parentheses, he's missing end quotes " "
