Courses Plus Student 5,798 PointsInt to String conversion
Hello everyone!
I have a question. During the video a problem of converting from Int to String comes up, and Ben is using a + ""; trick to solve it. Can we use the Integer.toString(), and if yes, which of two is better to use?

56,413 PointsEither one works. Previous guidelines from Google have recommended Integer.toString() because the + "" way allocates more objects from memory, so it's considered less efficient. But + "" is more readable, and that is considered better than the small performance cost by many.
