Is Beginning PHP enough to jump into Wordpress Plugin Development?

I have just completed beginning PHP and PHP for Wordpress. Should that be enough to go for wordpress plugin development course?

For you to feel safe, i recommend all HTML courses, and CSS. There's always something that we learn (or re-learn).. Because for your first Wordpress Website you don't need to be a Master in back-end (PHP). I didn't like the Wordpress course from Treehouse, its outdated. I recommend this playlist in Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpcSpRrAaOaqMA4RdhSnnNcaqOVpX7qi5

What should I learn next before I hop onto Wordpress?
