Is it not parseFloat?

I am not sure what to put? I thought it would be parseFloat but now I am not sure.

app.js
var width = 190px;
var numOfDivs = 10;
var totalWidth = parseFloat(width * numOfDivs);
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>

  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

<script src="app.js"></script>

</html>

The function is called parseInt. Also, you should leave the quotes intact around 190px, otherwise JavaScript would freak out (JS isn't CSS!) Finally, you should only call parseInt onwidth, becausenumOfDivs` is already an integer.

Try this:

var width = "190px";
var numOfDivs = 10;
var totalWidth = numOfDivs * parseInt(width);
