is there a bug?

Hi, Here is the question I am tackling: Select the list items nested inside the gallery. Float them to the left and set the width to 45%

I am coding the following: #gallery li { float: left; width: 45%; }

and the course is still stating that it is incorrect, with the message:

Bummer! Be sure to float the gallery list items to the left.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Thanks!

css/main.css
a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
}

img {
  max-width: 100%;
}
#gallery {
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  list-style: none;

  #gallery li {
    float: left;
    width: 45%;
  }
}
#logo {
  text-align: center;
  margin: 0;
}

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
}

nav a {
  color: #fff;
}

nav a:hover {
  color: #32673f;
}

h1 {
  font-family: Changa One, sans-serif;
  font-size: 1.75em;
  font-weight: normal;
}

Don't nest your declarations:

#gallery {
 //stuff
}

#gallery li {
  //more stuff
}

try:

#gallery {
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  list-style: none;
}

#gallery li {
   float: left;
   width: 45%;
}
