Is this a bug? It seems to run in IDLE

Is there a bug here? Works fine in IDLE. Tried refreshing the page several times to no avail.

wordcount.py 
# E.g. word_count("I do not like it Sam I Am") gets back a dictionary like:

Hi there! It is not a bug. And yes, your code would pass given that test input. The problem here lies in a slight misinterpretation of the instructions combined with your test data. The challenge asks you to split on all whitespace, but currently, you are only splitting on spaces. This ignores things like tab and newline characters.

This splits on spaces:

.split(" ")

This splits on all whitespace:

.split()
