name = "yasuhiko"

is that not right??

For part 1. This is correct For part 2. The challenge is asking for you to format a string using 'name' and add that to a variable called subject. The first line below is what I entered for part 1, and it passed. Then I added the second line for part 2 and it also passed.

name = "Jon"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)

If your code is not passing using name = "Yasuhiko", then something must be wrong with the code interpreter.
