30,003 PointsIs this PHP course outdated(build-a-simple-php-application)?
Hello, everyone! I'm thinking about starting up some PHP learning. I noticed that this course : https://teamtreehouse.com/library/build-a-simple-php-application is no longer in the PHP track(I think it used to be). Since it's one of the oldest PHP courses on here I was wondering it's a bit outdated? It seems like it covers a lot of neat features and would leave me with the general skills I'm looking to learn.
Thanks!

15,761 PointsIt is not outdated and in fact is a very handy course as it has 2 follow up courses that add complexity. I 100% suggest starting with that course and then moving to the <b>Enhancing a Simple PHP Application</b> course. Then follow it up with <b>Using PHP with MySQL</b> .
You work on the same project throughout each course and just add to the complexity each time. I think it is a well structured course

10,910 PointsI found it useful even now, I kid you not, just last week it helped me to make a static HTML site of mine more dynamic with the use of PHP includes.
