Is WordPress worth learning?

Hello,

I see a lot of CMS Software out there that is becoming popular like Wix and SquareSpace. So my question is, is WordPress still worth learning? And will it still be popular in years to come?

Hi,

Simple.. Yes! WordPress evolves day by day and so do the services and products surrounding it. You can build just about anything with WordPress and with the addiction of the REST API building apps from the content will be a breeze :)

All I would say is that if you want to learn it you need to commit to it or it will just frustrate you, it is a place of its own just like Ruby or Python.

Advice would be to consider what your end goal as a designer or developer would be, then you can go down the path that suits you best :)
