15,093 PointsWhat the challenge is asking you to do is to create a function that returns the value of the argument that is passed into it. The next step asks you to create a variable and store the returned value when you call the function with a string you pass into the function. This would be done outside of the function.
So all you need to do is create a function that returns the argument that is passed in and then create a variable that stores the value returned from the function when called.
Here is what that would look like:
function returnValue(arg) {
return arg;
}
var echo = returnValue("HI!");
