Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

It keeps sayng Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing.

I keep getting this error for this task. What am I doing wrong here?

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
ice_cream = sundaes.join(", ".format(menu))

the error seems to be a bug, although you should have a look at your last assignment: like this, you call the format() on the ", "-string and try to replace the placeholders with the menu variable.

str.join is one of those methods that are tricky. It doesn't make a ton of sense. Try this code layout. It won't pass your challenge, but task one and task two will pass and allow you to work on task 3 of the challenge.

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
# ice_cream = sundaes.join(", ".format(menu))
ice_cream = menu.format(", ".join(sundaes))
