It seems the check is not correct; if I put .contact-info ul {} then it fails; with just .contact-info {} it passes. The assignment specifically mentions to select the unordered list with class contact-info. There might be another element with class contact-info that is not an unordered list, right?

Hey,

To target an UL that has class of contact-info you should go with:

ul.contact-info {
  font-size: 0.9em;
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  list-style: none;
}

With .contact-info UL you were targeting all UL's inside an element with a class .contact-info. Here's quite good explanation of that: https://css-tricks.com/whats-the-difference/ Cheers!
