7,489 PointsIt would be helpful if he would add a 2 second pause between finishing a line of code and flipping to another page.
It gets a little frustrating having to constantly pause and rewind every few seconds when following this video. Too bad it's not like in a real class where the professor switches slides before the students are done taking notes and they are able to make a noise protesting the change, ha ha.

5,773 PointsYes, even watching these at 0.5 speed I still have to rewind and click pause, often multiple times, after almost nearly every line of code he writes. Part of being a good instructor is having a the right pace for your students' abilities. I think some of these instructors forget that they type 2-3 times as fast as most non-programmers, largely because they spend forty hours per week doing it.

Treehouse Guest TeacherHello Josiah,
Sometimes the pace can be inconsistent, but luckily you now have the option to slow down or speed up the video. Trying slowing it down a bit using the second icon from the left menu of the video player.
I hope this helps.

7,489 PointsThank you, but the problem isn't the speed, it's the lack of pause between the end of his written code and him flipping to a new page. He hardly gives a chance to see the complete line of code before it is gone.

5,255 PointsSlowing down the speed of the video doesn't help if he tabs as soon as he finishes a string/character. Its super frustrating your choices are play at half speed where you can type just frantically enough to keep up but your not comprehending and understanding why or constantly pause and rewind sections because he is blowing through this and switching screens way to quickly.
