Its not letting me make a new folder for the images

I've tried using the side bar to create a new folder as well as the file menu. It won't let me create the new folder for the images. Please someone tell me I'm not crazy. LOL.

Every time I've had this problem in the past, I would restart Workspaces. Then, I would maker sure that all folders are closed before trying to create a new one. You may be inadvertently opening folders in folders that are already open.
