HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Create Navigation with Lists

Its telling me link the about page to "about.html". what am i doing wrong here?

From my rookie eye its look like Im doing what its asking.

That happened to me. I was sure I did it exactly, but in the end, after looking at the video, pausing it and comparing, I had misplaced the </a>. Just compare your code to the video's or to Steve's below.

Hi Addison,

Your code should end up looking something like this:

      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
      </nav>

If you post your code I can see why the compiler is complaining.
