I've followed the instructions but..

I've followed the instructions but my About, Articles, Contact don't become blue navigation tools, they're still blacked out. Why doesn't it work as in the video? I'm sure I'm making a mistake somewhere.

Best, Anthony

Hi Anthony!

The easiest way for us to see what's going on, is to see your code. Can you share what you have so far, so we can take a peek?

From what you explained, it sounds like the code or page may not be recognizing the sections as links. Check to make sure that your linked text is wrapped in the anchor tags; IE: <a href=""> and </a>.

If you're still having trouble, share your code here and hopefully the community can help. :)

Happy Coding!

I feel so dumb. I started doing the article.html but stopped and the window went dead so when i went to upload the workspace again it uploaded without the article.html window that's why nothing was working properly haha sorry! How do i get the article.html window in the workspace text editor to make it look the exact same as when the instructor is doing it instead of having to come back and re write it everytime i take a day or 2 break and come back?

Hey Anthony!

I'm glad you figured out what was happening!

One thing you can do is reset your workspace. To do that, click on the "Workspaces" section in the upper right-hand corner of the page (right next to your achievement points and your user image). Once you're there, you can select specific workspaces and delete them.

Keep in mind that that will erase any changes you've made, but should reset the defaults.

I hope that helps!
