Courses Plus Student 45,640 PointsYou basically had it. Just remove that first function call and add your argument to the call when you're assigning the function to the variable.

9,699 PointsSorry, I didn't paste in the instructions. This is my first time trying out the "help" in Treehouse:
Now that you've created the returnValue function, call it, by passing it a literal string value -- a series of characters in quote marks like this: 'My argument'. Store the results of the function in a variable named echo.
