JavaScript Basics conditional code challange

Here is my script. It runs and works, but i keep getting the Bummer! messege

var answer = prompt("What is the best programming language?"); if (answer.toUpperCase() === "JAVASCRIPT") { alert("You are correct"); }

It looks like you've done more than the task asked you to. The toUpperCase function is not needed. Even though your code works in reality, the code challenges are finicky about answers.

if (answer === "JavaScript") { alert("You are correct"); }
