15,028 PointsThe challenge is asking you to first create your function, and then call it, storing the result inside a variable called echo
. This second part is separate from your initial function declaration.
function returnValue(abc) {
return abc;
}
var echo = returnValue("What's up");

15,028 PointsThe question is asking you to create a function which accepts a parameter and immediately returns that parameter, which is what the first part of the code is doing.
The question then asks you to call your function and store the result inside a variable, which is what the second part of the code is doing.
