Javascript Test question problem

I need to select the 3 link elements in the nav section. So I gave them each a class name of navLink.

But when I run my selector, navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('.navLink') It always says it receives 0 links when expecting 3.

What am i missing?

Thanks,

js/app.js
let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('.navLink');
let galleryLinks;
let footerImages;

:point_right: Perhaps the challenge does not allow alterations of index.html.

This is just a guess, but maybe any changes you make to index.html are ignored by the challenge. This would make sense, as I believe the point of the challenge is for you to demonstrate the ability to construct selectors that work with the HTML as initially provided (but it would have been nice to see that explicitly stated).

Try creating a selector that performs as required without any changes to the HTML.
