11,968 PointsjQuery .fail method question.
I don't know what I'm missing. i've tried this code and looked at other forums regarding .fail() online and cannot come up a solution. My code is below.
$.get("missing.html", function(data) {
$("#footer").html(data);
}); .fail(function () {
});
$.get("missing.html", function(data) {
$("#footer").html(data);
}); .fail(function () {
});

Courses Plus Student 7,323 PointsHi Jesse,
The problem is with where you have placed the call to .fail
. Specifically, in this case it looks like you want to place it directly after the closing bracket of your get()
function call, rather than after the semicolon.
Try that out, looking more closely at some examples if you have to, and it should become clear.
