Keeps saying Task1 is no longer passing yet passes when I go back to it

Cannot get beyond this step. Not sure why previous step is not passing as havent changed it.

app.js
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = id.toUpperCase();
var hash = '#'
var hashUpper = hash.toUpperCase;
var lastUpper = lastName.toUpperCase();
userName =+ hashUpper + lastUpper + "tyest";
document.write(userName);
index.html

You put =+ instead of +=. And I'm assuming that you were testing the answer with 'tyest'. Also no need for an 'uppercase' hash, there's no such thing. Try this:

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = id.toUpperCase();
userName += "#" + lastName.toUpperCase();

Hi Frank! You forgot to add semicolone to the 4th line in your app.js.
